Read Deuteronomy 19 in context

Scripture Focus

1When the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses;
2Thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.
Deuteronomy 19:1-2

Biblical Context

The passage describes the Lord giving land to dwell in, and instructs you to set apart three cities within that land.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, the land is your consciousness and the Lord is the I AM that never falters. When the verse speaks of the nations being cut off, it is the breaking of limiting beliefs within your mind. You are free to inhabit the cities already prepared in your interior. The three cities you are told to separate are three fixed dispositions you steward: trust in divine provision, clear guidance, and fearless protection. These cities are inner states, not geographic places, and you visit them by attention and feeling. As you turn your attention to each, imagine that you already dwell there, noticing how your fear dissolves and your energy concentrates. This is the act of feeling it real: you awake to the truth that you possess that land now and that your life mirrors the inner structure you inhabit. By choosing to live from these inner cities, you align with the divine order and seed a life that corresponds to your inward state. The land you possess becomes your present consciousness, and your days reflect the faith you have rehearsed.

Practice This Now

Take a moment and assume you already live in these three inner cities—provision, guidance, and protection. Feel each as real now and dwell there in imagination.
