Deuteronomy 18:6-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
The verses describe a Levite who comes to the place the Lord will choose to serve, and, like his brethren, receives a share of food along with the proceeds of his patrimony.
Neville's Inner Vision
View this not as a historical census but as a map of consciousness. A Levite is an aspect of your being that serves the Divine within. Wherever you have previously pitched your attention, you may move to the sanctuary your I AM selects now, and that inner minister will stand before the Lord in your awareness. When this state ministers in the Lord’s name, it is not separate from you; it is you fully awake, the same acceptance that nourishes all other states. The phrase 'like portions to eat' becomes the inner law of distributive abundance: every faculty—mind, heart, imagination, action—receives its rightful share, no part left unfed. And 'beside that which cometh of the sale of his patrimony' points to the extra fruits of your past faith—in earlier acts of trust, of aligned feeling—that now come to feed your present worship. The covenant loyalty is simple: once you acknowledge and invite this inner Levite to minister, provision follows as an effect of the recognized I AM. You live in the awareness that abundance is your natural condition.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare: I am the Levite stationed in the sanctuary of my mind, ministering to the Lord and receiving my portion now. Feel the sense of abundance steady in your chest as if it already is.
