Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God promises to raise up a Prophet from among you, and you are to listen to him. If a word spoken in God's name does not come to pass, it is not truly from the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the quiet of your consciousness, the LORD's promise awakens as a definite state of awareness—the I AM that you are. Deuteronomy 18:15-22 tells us a Prophet will come from among your brethren, and you shall hearken; Neville would translate this as the birth of a new inner state, the dominant inner assumption that speaks and governs your experience. The 'mouth' that speaks is not a separate messenger but your own imagination energized by faith; when you implant a believing thought and persevere, God places His words in that 'mouth' and it speaks all that you command through your feeling, image, and dream. If the outer world does not immediately reflect the word, realize you have not yet merged your feeling with the image; you have not yet allowed the inner decree to take root as fact. The rule 'If the thing follow not' invites you to revise your state until your inner speech and outer effects coincide. Discard the counterfeit voices of doubt and fear; the true prophet is your I AM witnessing your life, calling you to obedience to your own highest image. In this light, the 'prophet' is always here, now, as your present consciousness acting through you.
Practice This Now
Sit in stillness and assume a desired outcome as already true. Hear your inner voice speak the guiding sentence as God's own word, then feel that truth settling in your chest.
