Read Deuteronomy 15 in context

Scripture Focus

6For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
Deuteronomy 15:6

Biblical Context

The verse declares God blesses you so you can lend to many nations and reign over them, and they shall not reign over you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Remember, the 'LORD thy God' is the I AM within you, the source of all bless. The lending and reigning are inner movements, not external commands. When you assume the state of being blessed, you activate abundance as your natural energy. Lending to many nations becomes the outward expression of an inward circulation of wealth—giving without fear because you are fed from the eternal fountain of awareness. To borrow would imply a belief in lack; to refrain from borrowing is to align with the conviction that you already possess enough in the I AM. As you persist in that consciousness, you reign over conditions—attention, action, and circumstance—by a sovereign inner will. The nations you "lend" to are symbolic of the many aspects of life that respond to your inner tone. Your true wealth is not debt-free cash alone but the disciplined, confident impression you hold in imagination that builds a world in harmony with your I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume the state of being blessed—feel the I AM within you as the source of all abundance. Then imagine yourself lending to many nations, and feel that you reign over conditions rather than being governed by them. Repeat this for 5 minutes, and carry that feeling into your day.
