Covenant Listening, Wealth Manifestation

Deuteronomy 15:5-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 15 in context

Scripture Focus

5Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.
6For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
Deuteronomy 15:5-6

Biblical Context

The verse teaches that careful listening to God's voice and obedience brings blessing, enabling you to lend to nations and exercise sovereign influence rather than needing others.

Neville's Inner Vision

I tell you, the LORD thy God is your I AM, the constant 'I' which is awareness. To hearken to the voice and to observe these commandments is to align your inner dispositions with a law of consciousness. When you refuse to resist, you allow the inner movement of order to move you into abundance. The blessing is not a distant reward but a natural state you occupy as you imagine and dwell in that alignment. Lending to many nations becomes a symbol: you have more-than-enough to give; borrowing disappears because you no longer experience lack—your bank is the kingdom of consciousness inside you. You shall reign over many nations, and they shall not reign over thee: this is the claim that external circumstances bow to your inner sovereignty. The more faithfully you stand in that inner fiat, the more your world rearranges to reflect it. Your life becomes a quiet administration of blessed energy, where authority is born from the fidelity of your attention to the I AM.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume you are the one who lends freely, feeling the fullness of abundance; revise any sense of lack as you affirm, 'I am the I AM in me, and I lend because I am blessed.'
