Inner Mercy Multiplies Deuteronomy 13:17–18
Deuteronomy 13:17-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Deuteronomy 13 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Keep nothing cursed in your hand and listen to the LORD by keeping His commandments; obedience brings mercy, compassion, and multiplication of your life.
Neville's Inner Vision
See this not as external law but as the map of your inner state. The cursed thing is any belief or habit you cling to that blocks your awareness of the I AM. When you refuse to hold such thoughts, you free the energy of your being from anger and fear. The fierceness of the Lord's anger signifies the resistance of your old self to shift of consciousness; when you hearken to the voice of the LORD within, you consent to a higher pattern. To keep all His commandments is to align with your true nature, the I AM who never wavers from love. This alignment births mercy and compassion as steady manifestations in your world, and multiplication as the overflow of a life lived in harmony with divine order. The outer events then become the visible fruit of an inner state, not a series of punishments. You are not obeying to appease an angry God but to awaken the God within you to fuller expression. The promise of blessing is the natural result of residing in this truth.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: In a quiet moment, assume you are already living in mercy and blessing. Revise any fear or negative thought by declaring I AM that I AM, and feel your life multiply.
