Remembering Divine Acts
Deuteronomy 11:2-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Deuteronomy 11 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The speaker urges you to remember God's mighty acts—from Egypt's deliverance to the wilderness milestones—so you may recognize His power and covenant loyalty. This remembrance is meant to awaken trust and provide direction.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this reading, the great acts are not distant history but a map of your inner terrain. Egypt’s bondage, the Red Sea crossing, the wilderness, and the earth swallowing Dathan and Abiram all symbolize inner states you cross when you awaken to the I AM that you are. The 'arm of the LORD' becomes the living state of your awareness, the imagination that parts waters and stills fear. When you remember these acts, you are not praising an old deity but affirming a present capacity: you can liberate yourself from every belief that binds you and witness opposition melt before your steadfast trust in that I AM within. The eyes that saw the LORD’s works are your present senses attuned to the miraculous as a constant possibility. Providence and guidance become the feeling of being led by a secure inner hand. Your covenant loyalty is fidelity to the inner principle that never leaves your side, even when appearances deny it. The acts show you that imagination births reality and that you are, now, the one who was delivered.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and recall a present limitation; then revise it by assuming the feeling that you have already been delivered by the I AM. Let the sense of being led and protected become your present experience.
