Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Diligently hearken to the inner commandments—to love the Lord with all your heart and soul—and you receive the inner rain of nourishment. Turn from idols of fear and you invite drought.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you lies the land and the laws that govern it. Deuteronomy 11:13-17 describes a people who, by hearkening to an inner command—to love the LORD your God with all your heart and to serve him with all your soul—receive the rain in its season and abundant fruit. In Neville’s reading, the 'rain' is the nourishment of thought and feeling poured into your awareness, the 'corn, wine, and oil' the fruits of a mind aligned with its true nature. The 'other gods' are distractions of fear, doubt, or circumstance; to worship them is to contract drought within your life. When your heart remains faithful to the I AM, the heavens open and the land bears fruit; when you fall prey to deceiving thoughts, you close the heavens and scarcity follows. The truth is you are the I AM, the governor of your inner climate, and imagination moves the rainfall of your life. Trust the season within and let your feeling align with that reality until it remains as your lived experience.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and declare, I am the I AM, and this moment is its season of rain. Feel abundant nourishment flowing, revise every thought of lack, and let the inner weather match your trusted conviction.
