Deuteronomy 10:8-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 10 in context

Scripture Focus

8At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.
9Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him.
Deuteronomy 10:8-9

Biblical Context

God separates Levi to bear the ark and minister before Him; Levi has no earthly inheritance because the Lord Himself is his portion.

Neville's Inner Vision

Levi is a state of consciousness set apart for sacred service. The ark is the inner truth I carry, the living Word that must be tended. The Lord standing before me to minister unto Him is my awareness actively attending to the divine presence. When Deuteronomy says Levi has no part or inheritance with his brethren, it speaks to the inner truth that true wealth is not land or title but God Himself as my inheritance. The Lord is my portion; He promised me that. Therefore my work, my vocation, and my worship are but the intentional consecration of my thoughts to the I AM. By maintaining this consciousness, I bless the world through the Name and by the Authority of God within. The external signs may come or fade, yet I rest secure in the one constant: God is my inheritance and my life.

Practice This Now

Enter Deuteronomy 10:8-9 via Neville Goddard’s inner lens: Levi’s separation shows serving God as inheriting Him within. Try now: assume, revise, feel it real.
