Deuteronomy 10:4

Biblical Context

God inscribed the Ten Commandments on stone tablets, given to Moses on the mountain in the assembly.

Neville's Inner Vision

To grasp this verse is to witness the law not as written on stone apart from you, but as inscribed upon the very stream of your awareness. The first writing is the original decree of your true nature, and the act of writing again is the mind deciding to fix a state. When the LORD spoke to you on the mount, say that the inner voice you hear is your I AM confirming what you willingly accept as real. The tables you imagine are not external slabs but the shelves of memory in your consciousness where every belief about obedience, loyalty, and covenant is stored. The day of the assembly marks the moment you choose to accept a new pattern of living. The LORD gives the commandments to you by your own awareness; you are the recipient and the writer, becoming the one who honors law by becoming law in feeling and decision. Thus the commandments cease to be distant injunctions and become your living principles, reframed not as rules handed down from outside, but as your own raised state of consciousness.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, assume the I AM has inscribed the commandments on your inner mind, and feel their reality by repeating I AM keeping all commandments now until it is vividly present.
