Read Deuteronomy 1 in context

Scripture Focus

30The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;
31And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.
Deuteronomy 1:30-31

Biblical Context

Deuteronomy 1:30-31 says God goes ahead to fight for you and carries you like a father bears his son, guiding you to this place.

Neville's Inner Vision

All the outward drama you call the journey is but the appearance of a single inner movement: the I AM moving before you. The verse tells you that the Lord your God goes ahead to fight for you; in truth this means your own consciousness has already defeated every obstacle by simply assuming the state of victory. In the wilderness you witnessed the Father-nurture of God, bearing you as a man bears his son—an assurance that you are not abandoned to chance, but carried by a living awareness that knows what you are. The I AM is not distant; it is the status you assume. When you feel danger or fatigue, revise the scene to reflect your nature as guided and protected, and feel it real: you are led, you are upheld, you are supported by the I AM as you move toward your next place. By practicing this inner alignment, the external path rearranges itself to fit the inner truth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise your present scene by declaring, 'The I AM goes before me and fights for me; I am borne by divine, loving awareness.' Then feel the warmth of being carried to your next place as if already arrived.
