Inner Reconnaissance of Deuteronomy
Deuteronomy 1:22-25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
In Deuteronomy 1:22-25, the people propose sending scouts to explore the land, report its goodness, and affirm that the Lord will grant it.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider that the scene unfolds not as geography but as an inner movement of consciousness. The call to 'send men before us' is your decision to inquire into possible states of being. The twelve are your ordinary thoughts touring the inner mountain, seeking signs and fruit of what you might have in mind. When they return bearing fruit and declare the land good, they voice your own recognition that the promised land exists within and is given by your God, the I AM that you are. The Lord our God doth give us signals that abundance is already available, awaiting your assumption. To accept the report is to align with Divine providence, to step as if you are already dwelling in the land of plenty. The practice is not external conquest but inner assent: imagine, feel, and inhabit the state; let the intelligence of your awareness certify the truth of the blessing.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already standing in the land you seek; feel the fruit in your hands and declare this is mine now, the Lord my God has given it to me. If doubt arises, revise to this: it is done, I have always known this land is mine.
