Beloved Skill and Inner Vision
Daniel 9:22-23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Daniel 9 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Daniel is told that a divine messenger comes to grant skill and understanding when he begins his prayers; he is greatly beloved, so he should understand the matter and consider the vision.
Neville's Inner Vision
Daniel's scene is your inner recognition that the I AM—your true Self—has now come forth to bestow skill and understanding. The words 'greatly beloved' announce your inner status: you are loved by God not as a distant deity, but as the I AM within you, the seat of awareness that frames every image you behold. When you pray or desire insight, the commandment to understand already moves toward you, timing its arrival with the beginning of your supplication. The vision you are asked to consider is not out there but in your own mind, a symbolic map of your inner shifts. As you dwell in the feeling of being beloved, you invite clarity, discernment, and the capacity to weave meanings into experience. Imagination, not facts, is the instrument by which understanding is formed. Rest in the assurance that you are cherished, and let your assumptions reform your inner sense until the ideas you seek become vivid, practical, and alive in your daily life.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, center in I AM, and silently affirm: I am greatly beloved, therefore I understand the matter now. Then revise a current issue by assuming the answer already exists within your inner vision.
