Inner Law, Inner Curse

Daniel 9:10-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Daniel 9 in context

Scripture Focus

10Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
11Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
Daniel 9:10-11

Biblical Context

The passage declares that Israel did not follow God's voice or walk in His laws. Because they sinned, the curse and the oath written in Moses' law fall upon them.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this moment the inner drama is not about a distant nation, but about your own mind. The voice of the LORD is the I AM within you, your true awareness. When you say you have not obeyed, you are recognizing a misalignment between your state and the inner law you were born to keep. The laws are the laws of consciousness and order. The prophets spoken of are the whispers that awaken you to what you truly desire. The transgression is resisting that inner order, and the curse is the natural consequence of forcing separation between you and your higher self. The oath in Moses is the steadfast promise you make when you acknowledge your unity with the divine I AM. By turning toward the inner law and choosing alignment, you dissolve the sense of separation and replace fear with peace. Your imagination is the workshop where you revise the past and imprint a new state of obedience that brings harmony into experience.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling of abiding by the inner law right now. Mentally declare I walk in the laws set before me by the inner prophets, and feel it real until it becomes your present state.
