27And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.
Daniel 8:27

Biblical Context

Daniel fainted and was sick for several days. Then he rose to resume the king's business, astonished by the vision that none could understand.

Neville's Inner Vision

Daniel represents the I AM within you, awakening to a new inner vision. The fainting and sickness are the body's response to a shift in consciousness, not punishment; the rising back to the king's service shows that outer life continues while the inner reality reorganizes. The astonishment is the initial shock of recognizing a power beyond the old self, a realization that others cannot yet perceive because they remain in the old state. In Neville's terms, the vision is an inner state that has already taken form in awareness; your task is to assume it as real now, regardless of present appearances. Do not seek approval from the crowd; instead, dwell in the certainty that the new state is true and let your actions flow from it. As you persist in the feeling that the vision is your present fact, the world will begin to harmonize with it, and the old interpretation will yield to clarity.

Practice This Now

Practice: In a quiet moment, assume you are already in possession of the vision and its understanding. Feel the new state as real and begin to live from that level today.
