Read Daniel 7 in context

Scripture Focus

8I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
Daniel 7:8

Biblical Context

Daniel 7:8 speaks of a little horn rising among ten horns. It symbolizes an inner ego and its boastful voice.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the Neville reader, the 'horn' is not a future king but a state of consciousness—a thought-form that asserts itself with the eyes of self-importance and a voice that boasts. The verse sets the scene inside your mind: a fresh center of attention appears amid many held beliefs, and this center speaks as if it has power. Yet what rises is not an enemy outside you, but a pattern of thought you have invited by your past images of lack or control. The 'three horns' plucked up before it symbolize old vibrations loosened when a new self-image hardens its claim. The key shift is to recognize that all such movements are your internal images in action; you are the I AM—the perceiver who can revise. When you stop feeding the little horn with fear or desire and instead dwell in the consciousness that I AM, you displace the boastful voice and invite a different reality to take root. Imagination, not circumstance, creates your experience; thus you re-create from within.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and hold the I AM as your unwavering identity; revise the horn’s voice by declaring, 'I am the I AM here, and this fear is not my reality.' Then dwell in the felt sense of the state you desire as already true.
