Within you, the fourth beast is not a distant empire but a stubborn pattern of thought that claims sovereignty over your life. It is the illusion of separation—the belief that power and doom come from outside your awareness. The Kingdom of God, however, is the I AM you are, the living consciousness that can overturn any outer decree. When you hear 'Thus he said' as your own inner voice, you grant it authority over your experience; you can revise it by consenting to the truth that the inner kingdom rules. By assuming and feeling the wish fulfilled in the now, you dissolve the old appetite to devour and control. Judgment becomes awareness: what you have accepted as real in the mind becomes your world; what you revise becomes your reality. Do not seek history but the present inner state. Your outer world will shift to reflect your inner state, and the beast of old power loses its grip as the inner king asserts its reign.
