Daniel's Inner Decree of God
Daniel 6:25-27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Daniel 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
King Darius issues a universal decree, declaring peace and acknowledging the God of Daniel as the living, eternal ruler whose dominion endures, delivering Daniel from the lions.
Neville's Inner Vision
See the story as a map of inner life. Darius represents the outer mind—the circumstances and voices that would govern you. The decree that all people tremble before the God of Daniel points to the moment when you consciously acknowledge the I AM as your supreme ruler. Daniel’s God is the living, steadfast reality within you, a consciousness that cannot be destroyed and whose dominion remains to the end. When you inhabit that consciousness, fear is displaced by reverent stillness; the 'lions' confronting you—fear, failure, lack—are shown to be powerless before the power you now recognize. The signs and wonders become the natural fruit of imagining from the end: you are delivered now, here in your awareness, not merely in some future moment. The outer decree of peace arises as your inner state aligns with this eternal kingdom. Remember, the kingdom of God is not a place but a state of alignment with the I AM, a decree you pronounce inwardly until it becomes the fabric of your life.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and revise your belief by declaring inwardly, I AM the living God within; my kingdom endures. I am delivered now from every lion.
