Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Daniel rises in Darius's realm because of an excellent spirit and faithful integrity; no fault is found in him, despite others seeking to fault him.
Neville's Inner Vision
Daniel is my inner governor, the I AM in action. The hundred and twenty princes and the three presidents are the many thoughts and images within me; my awareness, the king, assigns them to function so there is no damage in my kingdom. Daniel, first among them, signifies the settled assumption that I am governed by an excellent spirit—the refined state of consciousness that can rule without fear. When inner adversaries plot against me, they reveal only the counterfeit of thought; I remain faithful to my inner law, and no fault or error is found in me because I trust the good. As the king desires to set Daniel over the realm, so does my awareness incline to rule with discernment, wisdom, and integrity. Thus my outer world reflects my inner alignment; I lead my inner kingdom with patience, trust, and fidelity, knowing the Kingdom of God is within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the role of Daniel within your mind. Feel your inner governor ruling with an excellent spirit; revise any thought of fault or limitation by affirming, 'I am faithful, I am whole, I AM the ruler of this kingdom.'
