Universal Peace Awakening
Daniel 4:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Daniel 4 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Daniel 4:1 presents a royal blessing of peace directed to all peoples, nations, and languages.
Neville's Inner Vision
Daniel 4:1 speaks as if a king announces peace to every corner of the earth; in the inner book it is your I AM addressing the many states of your mind. The 'king' and the 'peoples' are the different thoughts, feelings, and circumstances you harbor inside. When you hear the blessing 'Peace be multiplied unto you,' recognize it as a directive for consciousness: let peace expand, multiply, and govern every moment. To the Neville reader, God is not an external ruler but the I AM you are aware of; to dwell in peace is to dwell in the awareness that you are the creator of your inner climate. Practice is simple: assume the feeling of peace as your natural state, revise any contracting thought, and allow the inner movement to ripple outward. The blessing becomes not a shout from a king but a whisper of your own consciousness: peace multiplied, here and now, within and around you.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes for a minute and declare, 'I AM peace, everywhere within me now.' Hold that feeling as you go about your day, revising any thought of disturbance to 'peace is multiplying in me.'
