Nebuchadnezzar blesses the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, acknowledging their trust and deliverance. He then promotes them in Babylon.
Neville's Inner Vision
Daniel 3:28-30 is not about an ancient furnace, but about your inner state under pressure. The God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is the I AM—the sense of being that you are when appearances threaten to burn away your old assumptions. The angel who delivers them is your inner guide, the image that returns you to the truth that you are already saved by the Father within. When you trust this inner truth, you yield your body to the one power that can truly protect you, and the decrees of the outer world lose their sting. The king’s prohibition against other gods dissolves as your awareness expands beyond fear, and you are promoted not to a throne in Babylon, but to the realization that your consciousness rules in every scene. The three men are faculties of your mind that will not worship fear; they stand in the flame and pass unharmed because the flame cannot touch the real you. Your deliverance is the realization that no other god delivers but your own inner God—within you, the victory is real, and your life is moved by your realized state.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and declare, I am delivered now by the God within; feel the I AM as your present reality dissolving fear. Then imagine the outer decree bending to your inner royalty, and notice your life rising in response.
