Inner Assembly of Divine Will
Daniel 3:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Daniel 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Nebuchadnezzar gathers the princes and rulers to dedicate the image he set up; they assemble and stand before it.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the Neville Goddard sense, this scene is an inward drama. The gathering of princes and governors corresponds to the many states of consciousness you carry within, and the image Nebuchadnezzar sets up represents a fixed belief you have entertained as real. The dedication moment is your decision to live by that belief, to stand before it as if it were the truth. Yet the king's power is not outside you; it is the dominant thought in your own consciousness. To awaken, you must shift the inner signal. See yourself as the one who commands the scene, not the idol. Make a revision by assuming the state you desire and feel it real until you know the idol has no ultimate authority. Your outer life will follow the inner attire of your awareness; the assembly dissolves when you remember the I AM, the divine self that remains constant amid appearances.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and imagine the inner council bowing to your I AM. Revise one limiting belief by assuming its opposite and feel it real until your outer life reflects the change.
