Neville's Inner Vision

Daniel 2:29-30 speaks of a king pondering future events and of a seer who says the secret is not revealed by worldly wisdom, but for those who will interpret it to the king. In my reading, the bed-thoughts and the great question of what is to come are the images of my own consciousness about my life. The secret is not hidden from me by some distant power; it lies within the I AM that I am, awaiting my willingness to listen and trust the inner witness. The interpreter, like Daniel, resides in my higher self—the faculty that translates inner images into clear meaning I can act upon. When I stop courting pride and acknowledge that I am not the author of wisdom in the ego sense but the witness and revealer of what my heart already knows, the thoughts of my heart are opened to view. Humility is the doorway through which revelation comes. I discover that the future I seek is already present in me; my task is to revise my belief and feel it real, so the inner interpretation becomes plain and my life moves in alignment with that truth.
