End Of Days Rest Within

Daniel 12:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Daniel 12 in context

Scripture Focus

13But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
Daniel 12:13

Biblical Context

Plain sense: You are told to continue on your path until the end; rest comes and you will stand in your allotted lot at the end of days.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Daniel’s utterance I reply: The 'end' is not a distant chrono; it is the end of your old, conflicted self and the birth of your real, unconditioned I AM. Rest is not sleep but a consciousness of wholeness—an inner quiet where you know you already possess your portion. When you imagine the end as achieved now, you invite the inner movements that bring it about. Your 'lot' is the state of awareness you are cultivating, the inner inheritance you claim by steadfast assumption. The promise of days is the gradual alignment of your thoughts and feelings with that which you desire; perseverance becomes the discipline of remaining loyal to your desired state, even before outward signs appear. The awakening you seek is the recognition that you are the I AM, and the end you seek is found in the present moment through consistent feeling of right reality. Rest follows as you rest in the certainty that your inner state is already complete.

Practice This Now

Practice: sit quietly for 5 minutes and assume you are already in possession of your rightful lot. Feel the peace of that state, then affirm, 'I am now in my rightful place.'
