Scripture Focus

9So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.
Daniel 11:9

Biblical Context

Verse 11:9 describes the south king coming into his kingdom and then returning to his own land. It mirrors a movement of consciousness within that moves into expression and then back to its origin.

Neville's Inner Vision

Daniel 11:9 speaks of the south king entering his kingdom and then returning to his own land. In Neville terms, the king is a state of consciousness, the kingdom its field of tangible experience, and the journey a movement of inner attention. When this king comes forth, you have allowed a belief to take form in your life; when he returns, you return to the original land of I AM that makes all appearances possible. The point is not to chase the outer scene but to awaken to the I AM that animates it all. If you feel the pull of this south king, do not resist; simply revise by claiming I AM, and feel the inner land expanding as the kingdom settles into its rightful place. The moment you dwell in that inner steadiness, the outer movement loses its grip and declares its unity with your true self. Imagination creates the scene; your awareness is the director.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling that the south king has entered his kingdom and is returning home. Then revise to I AM reigning in my inner land and dwell there for a moment, allowing the inner sense of sovereignty to expand.
