Dominion Within: Daniel 11:5

Daniel 11:5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Daniel 11 in context

Scripture Focus

5And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
Daniel 11:5

Biblical Context

The verse presents the king of the south as strong, with an attendant prince, and asserts that his dominion will become great.

Neville's Inner Vision

Here the south king stands for a present state of awareness you are conscious of—strong because you have harbored it long enough to feel its sway. One of his princes is a subordinate tendency within that state, a current belief or habit you have allowed to rule. The line that he shall be strong above him and have dominion is telling you that the larger I AM, your central identity, can rise over the smaller, old picture if you give it your full attention. The dominion of that state grows only in proportion to your conviction that it is already yours. When you refuse to negotiate with doubt and you persist in dwelling in the feeling of the wish fulfilled, the southern king begins to bow to the king within—your true dominion. Daniel’s numbers fade against the certainty of consciousness. You are not reaching for power; you are aligning with the I AM and letting your inner order take command, until your great dominion manifests as outward form.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume 'I am the dominion now,' while vividly feeling the presence of your central I AM. Then picture the south king bowing, and the great dominion arising in your life.
