Daniel 11:29 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Daniel 11 in context

Scripture Focus

29At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.
Daniel 11:29

Biblical Context

The verse speaks of a future movement that returns at an appointed time, but will not repeat the past forms.

Neville's Inner Vision

Daniel speaks of an inner weather, not a political maneuver. The time appointed is a turning of your consciousness to a new possibility. When 'he shall return toward the south,' interpret 'south' as the direction your attention has tended to go when you faced lack; the clause 'but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter' declares that this is not a repetition but a renewal—the birth of a higher mode of being. In Neville's terms, you do not chase an event; you become it by assuming the end in present fact. Place your attention on the I AM as king over the domain of your life—the Kingdom of God within you—and treat this moment as the appointed hour when a new pattern is made. Your inner shift creates the proper outer movement. The sense of limitation dissolves as you dwell in the feeling that what you seek is already established in you, and therefore on its way into your world.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and dwell in the scene as if your goal is already yours. Feel the I AM presence, repeat the end you seek in the present tense, and let that feeling become the next moment.
