Scripture Focus

28Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.
Daniel 11:28

Biblical Context

The text portrays a return to one's land with great riches while the heart remains against the holy covenant, doing exploits and coming back.

Neville's Inner Vision

The line in Daniel 11:28 is not about a political man so much as a state of consciousness that returns to its inner land with great riches while its heart remains against the holy covenant. In Neville’s sense, the riches and the exploits are the outer results of an inner assumption already entertained, not the proof of fidelity. When the heart rebels against the covenant, the mind moves in a way that appears strong outwardly but is inwardly divided. So I tell you: your outer successes will come to you when you align every aspect of yourself with the I AM, the awareness that you are the covenant. The man who returns with wealth is still within you, but you must revise the scene until the inner consent is complete. Imagine yourself already in possession of the innermost agreement, and let riches be the fruit that flows from the unity of your consciousness with God, not a weapon to sever that unity. The "exploits" are simply the bold movements of a mind that has decided, here and now, to be faithful to the covenant in thought and feeling. Then your land—your inner realm—welcomes you home again.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and declare, 'I am the covenant; wealth serves my consciousness,' then feel the truth of that alignment as if you are already home in your inner land.
