Biblical Context
Daniel 10:1-4 describes a true revelation given to Daniel that would come in its own timing. He enters a three-week period of mourning and fasting by the river, awaiting the vision.
Neville's Inner Vision
Daniel’s 'thing' being true, yet long in coming, is a parable for the inner truth awaiting alignment with the I AM. The mourning and the fast are not punishment but disciplined attention, symbolic acts that thin the clutter of sense-experience so inner sensation can be heard. By the great river you attend the stream of your own consciousness, watching the currents of imagination move, for imagination is the instrument by which reality is shaped. The three weeks are a period of steady assumption, a refusal to settle for appearances and a keeping of the mind fixed on the vision. When the appointed time arrives and you understand the thing and its vision, the shift occurs not on a calendar but within your state of being. The truth Daniel receives is the truth you awaken to: that you are the I AM, and that vision emerges from inner states you cultivate with consistency. Thus, the outer world aligns as you remain faithful to the inner revelation, letting your awareness crystallize into sight.
Practice This Now
For 21 days, assume the state 'I AM' as already fulfilled; revise every doubt and feel the vision real, until inner certainty becomes your outer sight.
