Biblical Context
Paul sends Tychicus and Onesimus as trusted messengers to declare your estate and comfort your hearts; they will reveal all that is done here.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the Colossian scene you read, the two messengers are not distant men but facets of your own consciousness. Tychicus is the mind’s faithful announcer—your present state being spoken aloud to your awareness. Onesimus is the loyal ally within you, a part of you that remains one with your truth. When Paul says they shall declare your estate and comfort your hearts, hear it as this: your inner life manifests to you through the reports of your own thinking and feeling, and your heart is soothed by the conviction that you already possess what you seek. The words 'all things which are done here' refer to the inner movements: beliefs, emotions, and decisions that operate within you. By adopting the assumption that these messengers are active now, you invite clarity and peace, for you are training your attention to the state you intend to dwell in. Your awareness is the proof that the I AM is present; with continuous imagining, unity and direction unfold from within into your world.
Practice This Now
Practice: close your eyes, imagine Tychicus declaring your present state to your awareness, and Onesimus comforting your heart with the truth that you are one with your fulfilled state; then affirm, 'I am the I AM, and my state is known to me now.'
