The Inner Ministry Call
Colossians 4:17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Colossians 4 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul tells Archippus to pay attention to the ministry entrusted to him by the Lord, so that he may fulfill it.
Neville's Inner Vision
Paul’s word to Archippus is not a command to a distant servant, but a beckoning to the minister within your own consciousness. The 'ministry' you have received 'in the Lord' is the vocation seeded by your I AM, the timeless you that abides beyond circumstance. Take heed, he says, not with fear, but with quiet, constant attention—an inner discipline that guards your creative task until it bears fruit in the world. To fulfill it is to align every act, word, and thought with that inner function, so that your days become a living scripture of purpose. When you accept the ministry as your present reality, you stop waiting for signs outside and begin acting from the certainty that you are already the instrument through which the divine flows. The Lord is not a distant editor but the source of your energy; your humility is simply receptivity, and your obedience is a steady 'yes' to the impulse that arises from within. In you, Archippus, and in you, all of consciousness, the ministry will be fulfilled as you continuously revise and return to the assumption of its reality.
