Biblical Context
Colossians 2:8 warns you not to be spoiled by philosophy, vain deceit, or human traditions. It invites you to stay in the Christ-conscious inner life.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the I AM, those philosophies and rudiments of the world appear as shifting patterns of consciousness rather than solid truths. You are not spoiled when you claim the one reality within you, the Christ-present I AM. To be spoiled is to identify with an outward story and forget the sovereign state you already are. Colossians invites you to beware of these claims and align with the living awareness that you are the imago Dei in consciousness. When you realize that all forms, all traditions, and rudiments are movements within your own mind, you can revise them by assuming a different state. The moment you imagine I AM and feel it as your present experience, the counterfeit fades and the Christ discovery becomes your only truth. The divine idea of you supersedes any philosophy that would claim authority over your inner life.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume I AM as your immediate reality. Feel the Christ-conscious state saturating every moment until outward philosophies lose their grip.
