Biblical Context
Colossians 2:19 speaks of remaining linked to the Head, from whom life flows through the body's joints and bands. When this alignment is broken, nourishment and growth stall.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the awakened I Am inside you, this verse is a map of inner circuitry. The Head is not a distant person but your own awareness—the central I AM that holds the whole picture. The body represents the total state you inhabit—the habitual feelings, assumptions, and reactions that knit your life together. When you 'hold the Head' you stay in alignment, and nourishment flows through the joints and bands of your consciousness, feeding every part of yourself. The increase of God is not a future event but the natural rise of your inner life as you refuse to drift into other states. If you feel disconnected, you have merely stepped into a belief of separation; revise by returning to the sense, 'I am one with the Head; I am sustained by the life within me.' Imagination is the instrument that makes this real: dwell in the feeling of a single, intelligent flow through your entire being, and observe how your experiences reflect that unity. The body grows, not by external conditions, but by the inner nourishment of God within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe and feel the Head as the source of nourishment; repeat, 'I am one with the Head; my life grows by God's increase,' and notice your whole being knit together.
