Scripture Focus

11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Colossians 2:11

Biblical Context

Colossians 2:11 speaks of a circumcision done without hands, by the circumcision of Christ. It describes a spiritual removal of the body of the sins of the flesh.

Neville's Inner Vision

Observe that you are not seeking to earn holiness from outside rituals, for in Christ you are already cut free. The inner circumcision is the awakening that your I AM presence is the real you, and the old fleshly narratives are only thoughts in a dreaming mind. In this moment of realization, the 'putting off the body of the sins of the flesh' happens as you withdraw attention from sin stories and rest in the truth that you are consciousness; the cut is made by Christ within, not by outward hands. The old self—a collage of fear, limitation, and separation—loses its grip as you acknowledge your union with the divine I AM. Grace becomes a present tense experience, a living alignment with your highest self. As you dwell in this awareness, behaviors and habits shift naturally because the inner state has changed. You are already new; the world only needs your recognition of what is already true.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and repeat, 'I am circumcised in Christ within my consciousness; the old self is shed.' Then feel the release as a bright light dissolves the image of sin, resting in that now.
