Colossians 1:18-20 presents Christ as head of the Church, with fullness dwelling in him, and God reconciling all things through his cross.
Neville's Inner Vision
To know this text is to know the inner architecture of your own awareness. The 'head' declares the authority of your I AM; the Church is the body of your life when you align with this higher consciousness. In him all fullness dwells; not as an external resource, but as your own inner plenitude when you stand in the feeling of 'I am that fullness.' The blood of his cross is the clearing of separation; by that action God reconciles all things—earth and heaven—into harmony within your soul. Thus, the verse invites you to let your inner state become preeminent, so that every thought, feeling, and circumstance reflects the unity of God perfected in you. If you experience conflict, revise it by returning to the assumption: 'In him I am complete; in him peace reigns; all things are reconciled inside me.' When you hold that state, your outer world follows, because reality is the outpicturing of your inner state.
Practice This Now
Tonight, sit quietly, close your eyes, and imagine the head of the body—the I AM within you—being preeminent. Repeat 'All fullness dwells in me now' until the sense of peace saturates your being.
