Biblical Context
Colossians 1:15–17 presents Christ as the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation; by him all things were created, and in him all things consist. It places the origin and order of every event inside the sovereignty of conscious life, not in distant powers.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this passage, you are invited to see that the visible cosmos is not a distant product of external powers, but a projection of the inner life you call I AM. The image of the invisible God—your true self—stands as the firstborn of every creature, the leading idea out of which all experiences spring. By him were all things created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, and yet all these realms are held in place by the sustaining act of your consciousness. When you acknowledge that 'he is before all things' you are naming the timeless nature of awareness that existed before any form appeared; and when you feel that 'in him all things consist,' you are confirming that cohesion and order arise from that same inner life. Therefore, any sense of separation, limitation, or lack is only a misperception of your alignment with this image. The work is inward: awaken to the I AM as the source and authority of what you experience, and allow your world to reorganize itself to reflect that reality.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and affirm, I am the image of the invisible God, the beginning and end of all I perceive. Feel the truth of your oneness with the I AM and let it revise every sense of lack or discord.
