Biblical Context
Colossians 1:15 identifies Christ as the image of the invisible God and the firstborn of all creation. It points to the divine reality within, the living expression of God present in you.
Neville's Inner Vision
Christ as the image of the invisible God is not a distant person; He is the senior I AM within you, the living image your consciousness reflects. When you dwell on this image, you are not petitioning for change from outside; you are recognizing your own awareness as the firstborn of creation—the authority by which all experience is formed. The 'creatures' of your day (your thoughts, feelings, circumstances) are expressions of your inner state. If you desire harmony, you revise the assumption and feel it real as already yours. The presence of God becomes intimate, immediate; separation dissolves as you insist you are the living image of God in operation. Through this inner kingship, you transmute fear into faith and lack into abundance. The key is to act as though the image is real now, not someday, and allow the outer world to align with the inner vision.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and repeat, 'I am the image of the invisible God,' letting a warm, radiant sense of I AM fill you. Then revise any lack by affirming, 'All that is needed is already here,' and feel that truth becoming your immediate experience.
