Biblical Context
The verse declares that God has freed us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son; this is an inner shift in consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Delivered from the power of darkness means the mind is awakened by the awareness I AM to belief systems that bind. Translated into the kingdom of His dear Son signals a transformation of state—not a future rescue, but a present shift in consciousness where the I and the Son are one. The kingdom is your inner realm of life, order, and grace, where fear, doubt, and separation lose their claim because you are now living as the Son in you. Darkness is the habit of thinking you are a separate self under external forces; the Son is your true I AM, your abiding identity. To wake is to revise in imagination and feeling until the sense of separation dissolves and the inner world aligns with divine life. Your imagination becomes the instrument by which the kingdom is disclosed: as you assume and feel that you are already there, your outward experiences reflect this inner decree. It is the practice Neville urged: assume, feel it real, dwell in the present truth, and watch the outer fall into line with your inner kingdom. This bridging of inner and outer is the grace and favor promised in the text.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume you are already dwelling in the kingdom now, and feel that liberty as your present reality. Carry that felt-reality into your day and let outer events align with it.
