Inner Eyes of Amos: The Preserved Kingdom
Amos 9:7-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Amos 9:7-8 speaks of God noting the nations and judging the sinful kingdom, yet sparing the faithful house of Jacob. It points to an inner law: awareness sees all but preserves the core self.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the 'eyes of the Lord' not as a distant judge but as your own awareness fixed upon a state. The 'sinful kingdom' is a habit of fear or guilt that seems to rule your days. When the Lord says He will destroy it, He means the old, reactive self dissolving in the light of your true being. Yet the text also speaks of not utterly destroying the house of Jacob—an inner remnant that cannot be annihilated by any dream. Jacob is your divine self, the living idea in God that you are already saved, already secure, and always connected to the Source. As you hold your attention on that inner kingdom, the outer picture loosens its grip and is rearranged to match the inner truth. You are both the observer and the agent of this pruning; revise your sense of self, recall past deliverances, and feel, here and now, the reality of your wholeness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, breathe, and repeat a revision: I am Jacob, preserved by the eyes of God; all fear and guilt dissolve in this awareness. Then feel the sense of deliverance as real in my chest.
