Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God promises to rebuild the fallen tabernacle of David and close the breaches. This restoration extends beyond Israel to include the remnant Edom and all nations called by God's name.
Neville's Inner Vision
Amos speaks of a day when the tabernacle of David is raised and breaches closed; this is not primarily a historical forecast but a description of your inner state. The tabernacle is your ruling consciousness—the order of David, the shepherd-king in you who governs thoughts, desires, and fears. When you perceive that tabernacle fallen, you have believed you are ruled by appearances; when you imagine its rise, you awaken to the truth that your I AM governs all. The ruins are the fragments of you that have seemed outside of this rule; to build as in the days of old is to restore vitality, courage, and unity within. The phrase 'that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen' is the inclusive invitation: all opposed or distant parts of your life return to your dominion, all that is 'called by my name' because it is called by your inner divine-name—the I AM. The Lord does this; this is your own consciousness acting under law. Your present moment can be the day of this restoration if you accept it as true within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and feel the tabernacle of David rising within you, right now, as the government of your inner life is restored. Affirm, 'I am the I AM ruling my inner nation; all aspects and people in me are gathered under this name' and feel it as real.
