Inner Market of Amos 8:6
Amos 8:6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Amos 8 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage condemns treating the poor as commodities for profit and calls out a heart that would barter people for silver. It exposes a corrupt inner market.
Neville's Inner Vision
Amos 8:6 exposes a scene where the mind treats the poor as currency and the needy as things to be priced. Remember, the kingdom you inhabit is the state of your own consciousness; if you see people as commodities, you are living in a divided I AM. To heal, revise your assumption until you feel the true source of all supply: I AM that abundance. I imagine a marketplace ruled by justice, where wealth flows freely and no one is undervalued. In this inner vision, the 'refuse of the wheat' becomes transformed into usable bread, a symbol that every thought rejected by lack is simply being released. Say softly: I am the source of all good; the world I see is my own reflection. When I wake to this truth, the external scene shifts—from manipulation to fair exchange, from scarcity to plenty, from greed to righteousness. The more vividly you dwell in this consciousness, the more your life will embody the justice and provision you previously sought elsewhere.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly and revise the scene in your mind where wealth circulates with justice—see the poor included in the flow, not bought or sold. Feel the I AM sustaining all, and let abundance feel real in your chest.
