All those wandering from sea to sea are not reaching for a distant oracle, but proof that they have forgotten the I AM within. The word of the LORD is not a forecast carried by prophets across deserts; it is the living assumption of awareness you wear as your own being. When you fix your attention on outer signs—the word spoken by temples, books, or messengers—your inner self grows deaf to the still small voice that speaks as I AM, as your own consciousness. Amos calls you to recall that time does not prove truth; your inner state proves reality. If you would know the word, you must turn from the external chase and become the very state in which the word is imagined as real. The exile spoken of in scripture displays as a separation of mind from its source; return to the inner sovereignty, and the word appears as self-evidence within your waking life, here and now.
