Amos 7:12

Biblical Context

Amaziah orders Amos to flee to the land of Judah and prophesy there.

Neville's Inner Vision

Now hear this as the inner movement of consciousness. The 'Amaziah' voice is not an enemy but the habitual mind that doubts your vision, telling you to reposition yourself. The 'land of Judah' is an inner country—the place of faith, not a geographical locale. 'Eat bread' is nourishment of your imagination; feed on the seed of your decree. 'Prophesy there' is to declare your truth from that inner steadiness, not from the old atmosphere. The point is that you can move your being to a new state and speak from that state, regardless of outward location. The prophecy is your inner statement which, when pressed, becomes reality; the external order to 'flee' becomes the invitation to discover the power to prophesy from within. The moment you accept the invitation, you realize you are not fleeing but incarnating a different level of consciousness where your words carry the causal power to shape events.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume you are already in Judah—the nourishing state; revise the command into 'I prophesy from here.' Say 'I am the seer in the land of Judah, and my word is law,' and feel it real.
