Inner Reckoning Of Amos 6:3
Amos 6:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Amos 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse cautions that those who push away the day of reckoning invite inner and outer upheaval. It links denial of accountability with a bringing near of violence.
Neville's Inner Vision
All through you the 'evil day' is not a threat but a signal of your own consciousness seeking alignment. When you push it away, you push away awareness of responsibility, and the seat of violence sits near in your thoughts—resentment, fear, blame, war within. The inner man is simply your I AM; the moment you acknowledge that you are already the judge of your own world, your inner weather changes. Do not seek to escape, but invite the day into your imagination as a fulfilled reality: justice now, harmony now, return from exile now. Assume the feeling that the law of your consciousness has already set things right; feel the peaceful outcome as present fact. The outer events then obey, transforming from projection to reconciliation. You are not punished by some distant God, you are revealed to be the I AM aware of it; by living from that awareness, you bring the near victory of truth into your life.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, declare 'I am the I AM; the day of reckoning is present now' and feel relief erupt. Hold that feeling and let your inner atmosphere settle into justice, harmony, and wholeness.
