Amos 3:3-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Amos 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Two cannot walk together unless they are agreed, and calamities reveal when alignment is lacking. God reveals secrets to his prophets, and when you align with that inner guidance, you begin to move with prophetic clarity in your own life.
Neville's Inner Vision
Amos whispers to your inner ear that two cannot walk together unless they have agreed. The truth for you is that outward events reflect your inner alignment. The Lord GOD you meet in this page is your own I AM—the constant, witnessing consciousness that cannot be separated from its activity. When you stand in true agreement with your desired state, fear loses its grip, because fear is only the signal that your inner dream has not yet harmonized with your outward image. The roars and alarms are the transient music of inner resistance; the real action is your inner decision to align with the end you seek. The prophets are your inner voices, nudging you toward the next movement you can believe in. They prophesy not about fate, but about the next inner shift you must make. If you listen and choose to stand in that alignment, the outer world begins to reorganize to match your inner conviction. This is how you participate in providence: by becoming the state that already sees what you desire as present.
Practice This Now
Assume the end as already finished, feel it real now, and revise any doubt until your inner state matches the outcome you seek. Do this in a quiet moment daily, letting the I AM within your consciousness speak through your world.
