Amos 3:2-3 Inner Covenant Alignment

Amos 3:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Amos 3 in context

Scripture Focus

2You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.
3Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Amos 3:2-3

Biblical Context

God declares He has known you alone among the nations and will hold you accountable for your sins; true walking with God requires inner agreement.

Neville's Inner Vision

To say You only have I known is not a history lesson but a statement of your inner state. The I AM within you is the only reality your imagination has to work with; to know you is to be aware of your center. When you act as if distant or disobedient to that center, you experience consequences that feel like punishment, because you are creating the misalignment within your own consciousness. Can two walk together, except they be agreed? means your outer life can only travel with God by matching your inner commitments with the divine pattern you claim. If your thoughts and feelings are not in accord with your desired life, you and the divine line up in separate directions. The invitation is to revise, to align, to feel the unity of I AM and your imagined self. See yourself walking hand in hand with the inner I AM, trusts, and harmony becoming your habitual motion. When alignment is held in awareness, the outer world follows into agreement.

Practice This Now

Assume the state that you are known by the I AM within; feel the rightness of walking in communion now. Close your eyes and declare, 'I am known by the I AM within me, and we walk together in perfect harmony.' Then feel the certainty of that agreement sinking into your chest as you go about your day.
