Amos 3:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Amos 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God commands to hear and testify in the house of Jacob; a summons to truth-telling and loyalty before the Lord.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Amos 3:13, the 'house of Jacob' is your own inner sanctuary, the state of consciousness where God, the I AM, resides. When the prophet cries, 'Hear ye, and testify,' he is inviting you to witness what your inner being already knows—that you are held by the Source and answerable to your own covenant of life. The God of hosts is not a distant storm but the living awareness that observes your thoughts, intentions, and loyalties. To hear is to awaken to the movement of your inner states; to testify is to declare from that awakened awareness what you accept as true. Thus, judgment and accountability become not punishment but correction of your inner alignment, so that your life reflects your faithful inner agreement. Your outer conditions answer your inner testimony; therefore, guard the tone of your imagining, reverently choose your claims, and repeat them until they feel true in the gut of your I AM.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, declare I am the I AM; I testify that my desire is already mine. Then feel the fulfillment as a present reality, letting the inner witness approve it until it resonates through your being.
