Scripture Focus

17And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
18And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
Acts 9:17-18

Biblical Context

Ananias goes to Saul, lays hands, and Saul receives his sight and is filled with the Holy Spirit. He rises up and is baptized.

Neville's Inner Vision

Saul's awakening is not a history lesson, but a state of consciousness revealed. The appearing Lord Jesus is the inner I AM, the awareness that stands behind every thought and feeling. Ananias is the faithful inner impulse that brings a saving idea into your mind, prompting belief that you are seen and blessed. When Saul receives sight, the scales symbolize old beliefs about inability and separation dropping away as perception shifts to spiritual sight. The Holy Ghost is not a distant event but the inflow of divine vitality into your consciousness, a knowing that you are now fully alive in spirit and truth. Baptism signifies immersion in the One Life—an inner washing by awareness, a return to right relation with God as your own awareness. The sequence shows that healing and regeneration occur when consciousness aligns with divine presence. Trust that the moment you accept this inner reality, your body and mind follow suit, just as Saul did, instantly and completely.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the role of Saul waking to sight: declare, 'The Lord Jesus appears to me now; I am filled with the Holy Spirit.' Feel the old scales dissolving as inner light floods your mind.
