Biblical Context
Acts 7:35-36 portrays Moses as the deliverer God sends after signs, leading the people from Egypt through the Red Sea and into the wilderness for forty years—symbolizing liberation and guidance.
Neville's Inner Vision
As you read, Moses is not a man of old tale but the inner Self rising in your consciousness. The 'Moses whom they refused' is the part of you that doubt would scorn, yet God—your I AM—sends this self forth as ruler and deliverer by the hand of the angel within. The bush you see is the awakening of awareness; the wonders and signs are the impressions you receive when you assume a new state. The wilderness and forty years are the patient seasons of settling faith until the mind embraces its freedom. The rejection you feel in yourself is the old belief resisting your power to lead. But the inner Moses, established by the angel's guiding touch, is your realized state becoming tangible as experience. When you assume you are delivered—marching out from bondage in your imagination—you honor the I AM and let it work. The acts of liberation you seek are not distant; they unfold as you hold the vision and feel the truth of your own I AM right now.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already free. Feel the I AM delivering you now; visualize parting the Red Sea of old habits and dwell in the sensation of liberation for a few minutes.
