Biblical Context
Acts 6:3 records the apostles instructing the community to choose seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, to oversee a certain business.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within your inner life, the command 'look ye out among you seven' becomes a summons to identify the states of mind that govern your day. 'Honest report' points to the integrity of your inner speech; 'full of the Holy Ghost' signifies the living presence of awareness—the I AM in you that notices and steadies you; 'wisdom' denotes the discernment that reads the truth behind appearances. When you consent to appoint these inner governors over 'this business,' you are not adding workers from without; you are aligning your energy with a higher law. The seven are seven facets of your own realization, each a faculty that can oversee thought, feeling, and action. By choosing them in imagination, you create order in your life and awaken the power of God within. The act of appointment is an inner permission: you declare that the inner government is established, that this moment is ruled by presence, and that you will move forward with clarity, grace, and purpose.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and name seven inner faculties as governors over your current task. Then, in your mind, affirm, I AM full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, and feel the decision as already done.
